Briefly, The UN~Saddle® is a revolutionary new bicycle Seat System that has been in development for the last 14 years with the help of engineers, orthopedic specialists and professional athletes that have ridden The UN~Saddle® to success for the past three years in a row in bike ultra triathlon world championships. SOME BACKGROUND
The inventor, Daniel Proust was racing as a pro cyclist in the '70's. He was forced to stop racing due to severe damage and consequent surgery to the iliac vein caused by long hours in the saddle. He decided to develop a bicycle "seat" that could improve performance, comfort and control for all riders. The result of this research - a system that prevents all the damage that traditional "saddles" cause, including compression in the perineum, chafing, knee injuries and low lumbar stress - and which also improves the efficiency of the rider - in short, a revolution in riding performance.

There are many saddles on the market that claim to address this problem. Millions of dollars have been spent in marketing and promoting saddles which all have one thing in common - they don't work. This is NOT another one of those saddles. The UN~Saddle® is a revolution in cycling performance and a massive step forward for cyclist well-being.

Stefano Doldi d.b.a. Dimar acquired from D. Proust the exclusive license of the patent in 1998. The last two years have been spent refining and commercializing the original design with the aid of both professional and recreational road and mountain riders' feedback to prove the functionality and efficiency of this new system works for all such types of bike riding.
